The Irish Electric Corporation website was built for an commercial and residential electrical contractor. The design goal for the site and it’s homepage was to create a site that in no way looked like a typical electricians website. The brand identity for the firm is closely tied to the owner who is from Ireland. Consequently, the clover, predominantly green color palette and the Celtic knot icon help the brand recognition.

The website is built on the Squarespace Aviator template allowing for full image backgrounds. The content section of the about webpage is inset to show the clover image background image. Awards, constructions associations, and a firm description are included on this page.

A series of blog articles were written to jump start the sites online awareness. The blog article pages have an elegant page layout with minimal images. Since Google’s algorithm update that takes page load speed into consideration on its search engine results page, images are kept a minimum on the blog in an attempt to get the best rank.
